Founder, The Habdash, Austin, Texas
When Brent was a kid, he wanted to be a tractor. That didn't work out, and so he founded The Habdash, a creative studio based in Austin, Texas.
He’s spent the last couple of years doing and teaching design and user-experience, advising on behalf of The Filene Research Institute and founding The Cooperative Trust, a grassroots network of hundreds of young people fighting for the future of socially responsible finance.
He also volunteers with Hackidemia, a mobile invention lab for kids, and sits on the board of directors for The Cooperative Food Empowerment Directive, a network that empowers students to create ethically-sourced, cooperatively-run food enterprises on college campuses.
Prior to founding his studio, Brent spent five years as creative director of Trabian, an Indianapolis-based interactive agency.
His work is driven by a fascination for what makes people tick.
